Danny the Dog film tells Bart (Bob Hoskins), a debt collector who has the "animal" pets, living deadly weapon named Danny (Jet Li). Since childhood, Danny educated to be a wild fighter who only obeyed orders Bart. When Bart off leashes on Danny's neck, the Chinese male children were mentally ready to beat, even kill.
But finally, Danny meets Sam (Morgan Freeman), the blind piano tuner who has a high sense of humanity. Through Sam and his stepdaughter, Victoria (Kerry Condon), Danny began civilized figure. But Bart, of course, does not stand watching something very precious hers just disappear. All the resources and efforts were made by Bart for Danny to return to normal.
